From Small Beginnings…
New Creation Church was founded in 1983 by a small group of young Singaporean believers with a vision of an independent, non-denominational church based solely on the unchanging Word of God.
Our church was officially registered with the Registrar of Societies on Saturday, 27 October 1984, under the leadership of Pastor Henry Yeo and a group of pioneer leaders that included Pastor Joseph Prince, Deacon David Yeow and Deacon Jack Ho. Starting with an average Sunday attendance of just 25 people, we gradually grew to about 150 members in 1990 when Pastor Prince was appointed the senior pastor.
In 1999, our church moved to its current location at the Rock Auditorium in Suntec City Mall. Before that, we had met in a variety of locations from a hall in the Young Women’s Christian Association on Fort Canning Road, to the ballrooms in several local hotels.
… To The Gospel Revolution
In 1997, Pastor Prince received a commission from God to preach grace even more radically, without any compromise. Since then, he has been guiding our church in rediscovering the beauty of our Lord Jesus and the gospel of grace.
This has led to our people experiencing all manner of breakthroughs, in finances, health, careers and relationships. It has also seen our church grow phenomenally — to more than 10,000 members in 2004.
Then, in 2007, Pastor Prince launched his international broadcast ministry, and today, his messages are seen weekly by millions around the world.
Today, our 22,000-strong local congregation is enjoying a fresh and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord.
