A Double-Fold Blessing In Her Career
I had my baby in September 2008 and made the decision to take care of him at home. I have always enjoyed writing so I decided to freelance from home.
Some time ago, I was given the opportunity to do a writing job. It was a pretty large order with a one-month time frame. A few of my friends who knew about this advised me to take it up because the pay was a good four-figure sum. However, I felt that it was not right for me so I turned it down.
Soon after, I was given the opportunity to meet some clients who asked me if I would be available to take up another assignment. The pay they offered me was more than double of the job that I had turned down previously. It was a five-figure sum! Moreover, the deadline was comfortable and I could spend more time with my son in the day and work on the assignment while he is sleeping. God is so good! All glory to Him!
