English Teacher (Holland)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a well-run, purposeful programme responsive to participants' needs based on the centre’s curriculum
  • Establish positive and productive relationships with parents
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Plan and conduct centre-based activities

Requirements

  • At least a diploma in Early Childhood Studies
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience  
  • Has a love for young children 
  • Intrinsically motivated with good interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills
  • Good team player

Assistant Manager/Manager (Group Internal Audit) — Part-time

Responsibilities

  • Perform audit procedures to determine the strength of internal controls and ensure that procedures are being followed
  • Ensure that procedures and practices are being followed to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify audit issues and concerns and make practical, value-added recommendations on internal controls and operational/business processes to Audit Committee and/or Church Council
  • Craft audit reports detailing recommendations and work completed
  • Present to Audit Committee and/or Church Council recommendations to mitigate any risk identified
  • Ensure that corrective action plans are developed and implemented
  • Assist management in evaluating policies and procedures
  • Participate in projects and special investigations when required

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be advantageous
  • At least six years of accounting experience; auditing experience will be advantageous
  • Independent, meticulous and analytical
  • Good interpersonal, time management and communication skills
  • Must be able to commit to 3 working days per week (or the equivalent in terms of hours)
  • May be activated to work on Sundays periodically

Communications Professionals

We are on the lookout for experienced professionals to create communications perspectives that connect people with the gospel of grace.

You may have a knack for compelling copy, or you may enjoy helping people get answers to their queries. You could have skills in public/media relations, corporate communications knowhow, social media expertise, or administrative and project management talents.

Preferred skills and traits

  • At least three years or more of working experience in the field of communications as described above.
  • Degree/diploma in mass communications, public relations, advertising or a related area.

System Support Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day to day user support in both PC and Mac environments
  • Perform other IT infrastructure matters (servers and networks, e.g. LAN, WAN)
  • Ability to verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, and review system and application logs
  • Support team manager in all infrastructure projects and development
  • Ensure the proper update of IT documentation and processes
  • Respond to the needs and questions of users concerning the access of resources on the network
  • Monitor system/network performance and communications in the organisation’s environment

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, either Windows 2008 or above, including Active Directory (AD) admin and Group policy admin
  • Experience in working on an MS Exchange 2010 and above environment.
  • Working knowledge of security protection such as anti-virus, anti-spam, secured emails, digital certificates.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing vendors in terms of purchases, projects, support and problem resolutions.
  • Experience in administrative and routine tasks; able to adhere to IT policies and security standards and organise resources to solve issues/requests
  • Familiar with VMware, Cloud services and have relevant hands-on experience in Office 365
  • Confident and technically strong
  • Able to work under minimum supervision
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Network administration and management experience (e.g. firewall, VPN, LAN/WAN)

Administrative & Finance Executive – The Zone (Youth) Department

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support in the area of procurement and finance
  • Liaise with vendors for sourcing needs while ensuring compliance with corporate procurement policy
  • Provide strategic triggering of budgetary event timelines and budgetary concerns
  • Review administrative, procurement and finance processes within the department regularly for continuous improvement

Application Support & Help Desk Lead (Executive) – Information Technology Department

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical training, guidance and resource support for end users and staff
  • Provide application support and enhancements to existing applications. Propose system requirements, priorities and viable alternatives
  • Assist in developing user documentation that impacts the use of application systems
  • Assess continually the quality of support provided to both internal and external end users
  • Handle enquiries from Call Centre and monitor Call Centre operations
  • Provide end-to-end solutions to work closely with infrastructure team
  • Lead the help desk support function for database management system and ensure quality of support provided to end users
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) on bug fixes and enhancements in database management system by understanding stakeholders' requirements and coordinating with IT vendors in terms of system User Acceptance Testing

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of MS SQL required
  • Technical knowledge of ASP.Net, Crystal Reports and Tableau will be a bonus
  • Must be willing to work on occasional weekends or weekend nights
