Any individual, church or group claiming to be affiliated to us (and/or our Senior Pastor Joseph Prince) does so without our knowledge or permission and does not represent us.

Special Announcement — The Star PAC

The Star Performing Arts Centre (The Star PAC) is a commercial entity, fully owned by Rock Productions Pte Ltd (Rock), the business arm of New Creation Church (NCC).

As a venue, The Star PAC is open and available for hiring by impresarios, concert organisers, institutions and commercial organisations.

The Star PAC operates its business independently from NCC with a strict arms-length policy in place. Pastor Joseph Prince serves as a volunteer Senior Pastor of NCC. He does not sit on NCC’s board and he is neither involved nor kept abreast of management decisions of the business entities under Rock.

Conditions set forth by the authorities in the tender award to Rock states clearly that Rock will “operate the 5,000 seat performing arts venue on a purely commercial basis and will not implement any leasing or pricing policies that will discriminate between religious groups, institutions or organisations from hiring the venue”.

All public events held at The Star PAC and other venues in Singapore require a Public Entertainment License, which is issued by the Singapore Police Force. We have government bodies including the Media Development Authority dealing with issues of public decency and we have the utmost confidence in their policies and ability to protect the interest of the general public.

Any event or concert presented at The Star PAC should not be misconstrued or misunderstood as having NCC approving of its artistic presentation or endorsing the lifestyle of the performer.

Concerts are a celebration of the arts and the artistes, and The Star PAC remains a performing arts venue that serves to enrich and inspire the arts and culture in Singapore.

Come Serve The King With Us!

According to Luke 22:12, when Jesus had a fervent desire to spend the Passover with His disciples, He commissioned two of the twelve, Peter and John, to make ready the Passover feast in a large furnished room.

Today, we are blessed with large “rooms” where we continually feast on His Word and soak in His love for us every time we gather.

To help us make ready these “rooms” for those special moments with Jesus our King, the Royal Service Ministry is looking for anyone with a heart for His house and a love for His people to join us.

If you have been in church for more than six months, come serve with our Royal Service Ministry now!

Be part of our team in these areas:

  • Ushers – This group of frontline servers welcomes and hosts our congregation during services and events, and assists them in finding a seat and guiding them to their seats.
  • Support – Our servers assist in the preparation of our service venues by ensuring that the necessary preparations, such as the placement of reservation tags and allocation of walkie-talkies, are taken care of before each service.
  • Medical – This team of medical doctors is on standby during services to tend to congregation members who require immediate medical attention.
  • Security & Safety – Apart from facilitating orderliness in whichever venue our services are held, our church’s “guardian angels” also ensure the safety of our ministers and church property.

NOAH Updates With Effect From Sunday, 24 Feb 2013

Praise Jesus for our new service venue at The Star Performing Arts Centre (The Star PAC)! We have introduced NOAH (NCC’s Online Access Hub), our church’s very own online seat booking system.

Starting from Sunday, 24 February 2013, the online booking system applies only to congregation members who are attending the first two services. Simply log on to NOAH every Tuesday to book seats in advance for the upcoming Sunday. To enter The Star Theatre for the 1st or 2nd service, tap your access media linked to your NOAH account at the access gates.

If you are attending the 3rd or 4th service at The Star PAC, you do not need to book seats via NOAH or tap your access media at the access gates.

Rock Kidz parents, do note that you will have to log in to NOAH to register your children for Rock Kidz classes at The Star PAC for all four services.

To optimise the seating capacity at The Star PAC, we seek your help to be seated 15 minutes before service begins. Unoccupied seats will be released to congregation members who are physically present at The Star PAC. We will be opening the access gates one hour before service so you can tap in at the gates and fellowship with your friends if you are early.

Click here to find out more about NOAH and about attending services at The Star.

Keeping It Safe And Secure For Miracle Seed Sundays

As our anticipation level peaked at an all-time high for our Miracle Seed Sundays held on 19, 26 August and 2 September 2012, our unsung heroes worked behind the scenes to ensure the security and accountability of the miracle seed collection.

We doubled up on our security measures by increasing the number of security personnel, which included armed security officers across all service venues. This was on top of our usual monitoring of the service venues with surveillance cameras.

Processes were also put in place for clear accountability. After the collection, necessary arrangements were made to ensure that the collection boxes were kept in full view of at least three persons — a volunteer server or leader, a full-time staff and an armed professional security personnel — at all times.

Movements of the collection boxes were closely guarded.

The counting and recording of all cash and non-cheque gifts was done centrally in a counting room monitored by surveillance cameras. Access to this room was held in stringent control by our security team, restricted only to a selected group of servers, staff and leaders.

Our auditors from RSM Chio Lim were also on site on all three Sundays to observe the Miracle Seed Sunday operations. Their presence for this special collection, together with other routine visits to our Sunday services, form part of the annual statutory audit.

While there are at least five auditors in attendance, at least two of them are present in the counting room to witness the cash counting and recording process.

For added security, every person in the counting room, including the auditors, was required to wear a specially designed pocketless apron. This measure is part of our usual Sunday counting operations.

Clad in pocketless aprons, the team sorts
and counts the givings in a monitored room.
Sealed money bags were securely
transferred to armed cash-in-transit
specialists.

Movements of money between all our venues were handled by teams comprising finance staff, security servers and an armed security personnel. The delivery of the total collection to the bank was handled by armed cash-in-transit specialists from AETOS and Certis Cisco.

Thank you for sowing into our new service venue at The Star Performing Arts Centre. Because your miracle seed is important to you, it is also important to us. Most of all, it is precious to God.
