Improved Ticketing System @ Rock Auditorium

Only For 1st & 2nd Services

Praise God for our ever-growing church family! To serve our growing congregation, seats in the Rock Auditorium will be fully ticketed with designated seat numbers, starting from Sunday, 12 February 2012. Entry to the Rock Auditorium will be by tickets only, so members who are in the queue early can secure entry into the auditorium. We appreciate your kind attention to the improved ticketing system, and let’s continue to enjoy Jesus in this year of unceasing fruitfulness!

1st Service @ Rock Auditorium

  • Tickets to the Rock Auditorium will be given out at 6.45am. Each ticket has a designated seat number.
  • At the ticket collection queue, you can choose either Front Section Seating or Back Section Seating.
  • If you opt for Front Section Seating, you can collect only one ticket for yourself. If you opt for the Back Section Seating, you may collect one additional ticket as we have reserved the Back Section Seating to cater to members attending service with a loved one who is unable to be physically present in the ticket collection queue (e.g. elderly parent, pregnant spouse).

  • Entry to the Rock Auditorium is by tickets only. Kindly be back at the Rock Auditorium with your Entry Ticket and be seated 15 minutes before service begins, so we can release unoccupied seats to members without seats. Thank you!

2nd Service @ Rock Auditorium

For the 2nd service, Queue Number Tags will be issued prior to ticket distribution to reduce the overall waiting time for members in the queue.

  • Queue Number Tags* will be issued to members who are in the queue early for the 2nd service.
  • You may leave the queue once you have collected your Queue Number Tag.

  • Kindly be at the ticket collection queue by 10am and exchange your Queue Number Tag for an Entry Ticket**.
  • Each ticket has a designated seat number. At the ticket collection queue, you can choose either Front Section Seating or Back Section Seating.

Kindly be back at the queue by 10.45am with your Entry Ticket and be seated 15 minutes before service begins, so we can release unoccupied seats to members without seats. Thank you!

New Creation Church @ Chingay 2012!

New Creation Church participated in the Chingay parade for the first time! In the lead-up to the parade, our church transformed a winning entry from a children’s art competition into a resplendent float, complete with a dazzling display of unique costumes.

Held on 3 and 4 February 2012, Chingay 2012 was the 40th anniversary of the annual street and floats parade that showcased cultures from Singapore and around the world. Over 150,000 spectators, including President Tony Tan Keng Yam and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, watched the parade live at the Pit Building near the Singapore Flyer. The event will also be broadcast to millions of people around the world.

On both nights, our 250-strong contingent staged a colourful and energetic item themed “Dream Realised”, complete with choreography to our own original music! Our performers danced their way along the night streets with brightly lit neon balls, and literally made a splash as they entered the 360-metre long waterway. Chingay 2012 culminated in a finale featuring our 80-metre rainbow balloon arch that signifies hope.

We thank Jesus for the honour of representing Him in this multicultural event and the opportunity to contribute to the community. A special shout-out to our enthusiastic volunteers for their unwavering support, and the generous giving of their time and talents to glorify Jesus!

Keeping It Safe And Secure For Miracle Seed Sunday

As our anticipation level peaked at an all-time high for our third Miracle Seed Sunday held on 22 August 2010, our unsung heroes worked behind the scenes to ensure the security and accountability of the miracle seed collection.

We doubled up on our security measures by increasing the number of security personnel, which included armed security officers across all service venues. This was on top of our usual monitoring of the service venues with surveillance cameras.

Processes were also put in place for clear accountability. After the collection, necessary arrangements were made to ensure that the collection boxes were kept in full view of at least three persons — a volunteer server or leader, a full-time staff and an armed professional security personnel — at all times.

Movements of the collection boxes were closely guarded.

The counting and recording of all cash and non-cheque gifts was done centrally in a counting room monitored by surveillance cameras. Access to this room was held in stringent control by our security team, restricted only to a selected group of servers, staff and leaders.

Our auditors from Deloitte and Touche LLP were also on site to observe the Miracle Seed Sunday operations. Their presence for this special collection, together with other routine visits to our Sunday services, form part of the annual statutory audit.

While there were five auditors in attendance, at least two of them were present in the counting room to witness the cash counting and recording process at all times.

For added security, every person in the counting room, including the auditors, was required to wear a specially designed pocketless apron. This measure is part of our usual Sunday counting operations.

Clad in pocketless aprons, the team sorted
and counted the givings in a monitored room.

Sealed money bags were securely
transferred to armed cash-in-transit
specialists.

Movements of money between all our venues were handled by teams comprising finance staff, security servers and an armed security personnel. The delivery of the total collection to the bank was handled by armed cash-in-transit specialists from AETOS and Certis Cisco.

Thank you for sowing into our new meeting venue at one-north. Because your miracle seed is important to you, it is also important to us. Most of all, it is precious to God.
