Protecting Our Members’ Giving At Services
Every Sunday, unsung heroes work behind the scenes to ensure the security and accountability of the tithes and offerings we receive.
Security personnel, including armed security officers, are deployed across all service venues. Our service venues are also monitored with surveillance cameras.
Processes have been put in place for clear accountability. The collection boxes are designed to be sturdy, heavy and immovable. The boxes are secured by lock and key and can only be opened by a select group comprising at least one full-time staff, one security server and a professional armed security personnel.
The counting and recording of all cash, cheques and gifts are done centrally in a counting room monitored by surveillance cameras. Access to this room and its surrounding area is stringently controlled by our security team, restricted only to a select group of volunteers, leaders and staff.
Our auditors make routine visits to our Sunday services to observe this aspect of the operations, part of an annual statutory audit. When present, they will also witness the cash counting and recording process in the counting room.
For added security, every person in the counting room, including the auditors, are required to wear a specially designed pocketless apron.
Movements of money between all our venues and the delivery of the total collection to the bank is handled by armed cash-in-transit specialists from AETOS and Certis Cisco.
Clad in pocketless aprons, the team sorts
and counts the givings in a monitored room.

Sealed money bags are securely
transferred to armed cash-in-transit
We recognise and appreciate that all giving by our members and visitors are voluntary and an act of worship from them to God. It is precious to God and it is important that we have tight security and accountability over the giving.
Other principles of accountability
The giving we receive is used for the work of God’s kingdom, in line with our church’s vision and mission. If a member designates who or what a giving should go to, we will endeavour to accomplish that accordingly.
We apply good governance principles in our operations and are continually vigilant over our financial processes and accountability to our members and the governing authorities.
There is a strict no-refund policy in place that will deter attempts at money laundering or financial shenanigans through contributions to the church. Should we discover or even just suspect any attempt to launder money or finance crime and terrorism through the giving to our church, or links between criminal activities and givers or recipients of our church’s community outreach work, we will not hesitate to make a report to the relevant authority.
Upholding Paris In Prayer
14 November 2015
Our hearts go out to the victims, their loved ones and all in Paris and France after the multiple terrorist attacks in the city late Friday night on 13 November 2015.
Church, let's pray that all those affected will receive comfort, help and the Lord's perfect love which casts out all fear (ref: 1 John 4:18).
About The Star PAC: An Arts & Culture Venue For Singapore
The Star Performing Arts Centre (The Star PAC) is a commercial entity, fully owned by Rock Productions Pte Ltd (Rock), the business arm of New Creation Church (NCC).
As a venue, The Star PAC is open and available for hiring by impresarios, concert organisers, institutions and commercial organisations.
The Star PAC operates its business independently from NCC with a strict arms-length policy in place. Pastor Joseph Prince serves as a volunteer Senior Pastor of NCC. He does not sit on NCC’s board and he is neither involved nor kept abreast of management decisions of the business entities under Rock.
Conditions set forth by the authorities in the tender award to Rock states clearly that Rock will “operate the 5,000 seat performing arts venue on a purely commercial basis and will not implement any leasing or pricing policies that will discriminate between religious groups, institutions or organisations from hiring the venue”.
All public events held at The Star PAC and other venues in Singapore require a Public Entertainment License, which is issued by the Singapore Police Force. We have government bodies including the Media Development Authority dealing with issues of public decency and we have the utmost confidence in their policies and ability to protect the interest of the general public.
Any event or concert presented at The Star PAC should not be misconstrued or misunderstood as having NCC approving of its artistic presentation or endorsing the lifestyle of the performer.
Concerts are a celebration of the arts and the artistes, and The Star PAC remains a performing arts venue that serves to enrich and inspire the arts and culture in Singapore.
Share Your Story Of Grace
A revolution is not just life-changing, a revolution can be fun!
Pick up a jigsaw card from our friendly ambassadors or ushers on Sundays, 15 November and 22 November 2015, and get to work, discovering how the pieces fit together. Every joint supplies and we are all a part of the Grace Revolution that is happening here and around the world today!
You can also fill in the back of your card with your story of grace, take a snapshot of it and post it on social media using the hashtag #gracerevolution.
Over three Sundays, on 25 October, 1 November and 8 November 2015, the congregation also had a great time at our photo booths where personalised cards were printed for them to share how the grace of God has made a difference to their lives.
Search for #gracerevolution and #becauseofgrace on Facebook and Instagram to check out the stories of grace.

Haze Advisory For Church Services
30 Sep 2015, 9.45am
Our English and Chinese services, DARE services (for secondary school students), as well as classes for our children’s ministry Rock Kidz, will continue to take place on Sundays at the various service venues.
If you feel unwell at our service venues, please approach our ushers for assistance.
Any further updates on our services in relation to the haze will be shared here and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/nccsg.
In line with the health advisory from the National Environment Agency (NEA), elderly people, pregnant women, children and persons with chronic medical conditions, especially lung or heart ailments, are encouraged to wear respiratory masks and avoid physical exertion and outdoor activities.
Parents, do consider having your children rest at home if they are unwell or have respiratory ailments.
For the latest haze updates and health advisories, please visit the NEA website.
Beloved in Christ, regardless of the situation, let us continue to pray for the haze to clear and put our trust in God as our refuge and fortress (ref: Psalm 91:2)!
Visual Arts Ministry Is Recruiting Stagehands
The Visual Arts ministry is all about expressing God’s love and the gospel of grace through the arts. It can take the form of a play, musical, dance, stand-up comedy, special videos and large-scale services like Christmas and Resurrection Sunday.
Our stagehands play an important supporting role as “invisible hands” moving behind and between the scenes and production sets to ensure that the stage is always ready for each and every church service.
We are looking for volunteer stagehands to join our crew. If you have a heart to serve and glorify Jesus in this ministry, do sign up to be part of our energetic and enthusiastic team. No experience is required.

Extending Love And Help To Myanmar
Latest update on 31 August 2015
Last week, our church volunteers not only distributed emergency relief packs to some 140 households at Kalar Kyun Village in the Irrawaddy region, they also taught the villagers to use water purification tablets to get clean drinking water.
20 August 2015
Our church has given US$10,000 towards relief efforts in Myanmar, where thousands have been displaced and had their livelihoods affected by widespread flooding across the country.
We are working with local partners to bring medical supplies and essential necessities like rice, canned food, salt, sugar and tents to the flood victims in the affected areas.
Let’s continue to keep the nation and its people in prayer.
Celebrating SG50, Helping Lives
Celebrating Singapore's 50th birthday means helping the underprivileged in our nation too. In the months leading up to National Day on 9 August 2015, our Outreach Ministry reached out to different segments of our society through a series of outreach activities to show them that we care.
Blessing underprivileged children
On 26 May 2015, a small team of volunteers were in Woodlands Garden School, a MINDS Special Education School that serves the learning needs of children with intellectual disabilities, to bring gifts of new school shoes and socks to students from low-income families.
Click here to read more about this outreach event.
In addition, needy students under the Financial Assistance Scheme in Angsana Primary School and Greendale Primary School received gift vouchers to buy new school shoes and socks.
Through this Happy Feet Project, we blessed a total of 700 underprivileged students with $21,000 worth of gift vouchers.
Appreciating domestic workers
In the month of June, we organised a lunch party to appreciate and celebrate Filipino domestic helpers in Singapore, and give them a taste of home away from home.

Better homes for needy families
Recognising that low-income families have to cope without basic household items, more than 170 volunteers made home visits to needy households in the Queenstown area over two Saturdays in July to deliver gift vouchers for essential home appliances or furniture.

Helping our nation’s pioneer generation
In the month of August, we will be distributing more than $100,000 worth of supermarket gift vouchers to 1,080 underprivileged elderly to help them with the cost of daily groceries.
The first day of this programme took place on 1 August 2015. Click here to read more about it.
