Bringing Jesus’ Healing Touch To Cambodians

Led by Pastor Lawrence Lim, our medical mission team comprising of volunteers such as medical doctors, pharmacists and nurses, were in Kampong Thom, Cambodia, from 18 to 23 April 2016.

On the first day, three of our volunteer doctors conducted medical education talks for medical students and healthcare staff from One-to-One Cambodia, a local non-profit organisation.

The following day, on 19 April 2016, the team were on site at Komru Primary School with One-to-One Cambodia to set up a free medical clinic for the poor. Each day, hundreds of villagers with different kinds of ailments would turn up at the makeshift clinic to receive free medical treatments.

The team also set up a Prayer And Healing Room at the clinic to share the gospel and minister to the people. There, the team was able to witness first-hand many miraculous healings after praying for the sick — an elderly lady who was lame, was able to walk again; a man who suffered poor vision after a head injury, could see clearly again; another man who had difficulty moving his left arm due to a stroke regained his movement.

Watch this man’s testimony of how Jesus touched and restored him:

And a little girl who was hearing impaired since birth, had her hearing restored instantly after hands were laid on her in prayer. Glory to Jesus! It is no wonder that the clinic is affectionately known among locals as the “Jesus Clinic”. Through this medical mission, more than 1,800 villagers were treated, and a total of 1,479 precious souls opened their hearts to receive Jesus!

Day 4: This little girl (in red) seen here with her grandmother who had brought her to the clinic, could hear clearly again after she was prayed for. Praise the Lord!
