Deacon Matthew Kang, Chairman of our Church Council, shared his excitement over our new service venue at The Star Performing Arts Centre. Watch this video update and get a quick peak inside this beautiful venue!

The Star Performing Arts Centre (The Star PAC) was featured recently on CNN Travel as one of the 16 favourite futuristic buildings selected by the editorial team.

Asia took four spots, and The Star PAC was the only Singapore landmark that made it to the listing. Praise the Lord! We rejoice with The Star PAC team for the favour and accolades they have received!

This sermon was very well received and shortly after that, it became the 2nd most popular title on iTunes USA in the audiobook, spoken word category! Praise God that many are getting to know the truth and real biblical significance behind the story of Noah! You can check out the sermon here on iTunes.

In addition, in the month of March this year, Pastor Prince's official Facebook page crossed more than two million likes.

Praise the Lord for His favour, and we thank God for the countless lives that have been transformed and touched by the Word that is preached in New Creation Church.

New Creation Church is a non-denominational church, and a member of the National Council of Churches of Singapore. Jesus Christ takes centre place in our church, from the focus of our services, outreach efforts and worship to its day-to-day operations and volunteer activities.

An elected council has general oversight of our church and is led by independent chairman Deacon Yong Chee Ram. Senior Pastor Joseph Prince preaches regularly in our church in a voluntary capacity, and his Christ-centred messages are broadcast to millions around the world daily.

Supporting Flood Relief Efforts In Mumbai

On Tuesday, 29 August 2017, torrential monsoon rains flooded the city of Mumbai in India, destroying countless homes and claiming precious lives.

To help the victims, we gave towards the flood relief efforts in Mumbai.

We are also upholding the people in prayer, and believing that God will strengthen and protect them during this challenging time.

Supporting Hurricane Relief Efforts In Texas

On Friday, 25 August 2017, Hurricane Harvey hit the state of Texas in the United States, destroying many homes in its path and causing widespread flooding. Our heart goes out to the people affected by the hurricane and its resulting storms. We pray that the Lord‘s comfort and protection would be upon them and their families in this difficult time. (ref.: 2 Corinthians 1:3–4, Psalm 91:2)

To help the victims, New Creation Church is contributing US$20,000 towards disaster relief efforts.

Read more about our relief efforts below:

Every Sunday, unsung heroes work behind the scenes to ensure the security and accountability of the tithes and offerings we receive.

Security personnel, including armed security officers, are deployed across all service venues. Our service venues are also monitored with surveillance cameras.

Processes have been put in place for clear accountability. The collection boxes are designed to be sturdy, heavy and immovable. The boxes are secured by lock and key and can only be opened by a select group comprising at least one full-time staff, one security server and a professional armed security personnel.

The counting and recording of all cash, cheques and gifts are done centrally in a counting room monitored by surveillance cameras. Access to this room and its surrounding area is stringently controlled by our security team, restricted only to a select group of volunteers, leaders and staff.

Our auditors make routine visits to our Sunday services to observe this aspect of the operations, part of an annual statutory audit. When present, they will also witness the cash counting and recording process in the counting room.

For added security, every person in the counting room, including the auditors, are required to wear a specially designed pocketless apron.

Movements of money between all our venues and the delivery of the total collection to the bank is handled by armed cash-in-transit specialists from AETOS and Certis Cisco.

Clad in pocketless aprons, the team sorts
and counts the givings in a monitored room.

Sealed money bags are securely
transferred to armed cash-in-transit
specialists.

We recognise and appreciate that all giving by our members and visitors are voluntary and an act of worship from them to God. It is precious to God and it is important that we have tight security and accountability over the giving.

OTHER PRINCIPLES OF ACCOUNTABILITY
The giving we receive is used for the work of God’s kingdom, in line with our church’s vision and mission. If a member designates who or what a giving should go to, we will endeavour to accomplish that accordingly.

We apply good governance principles in our operations and are continually vigilant over our financial processes and accountability to our members and the governing authorities.

There is a strict no-refund policy in place that will deter attempts at money laundering or financial shenanigans through contributions to the church. Should we discover or even just suspect any attempt to launder money or finance crime and terrorism through the giving to our church, or links between criminal activities and givers or recipients of our church’s community outreach work, we will not hesitate to make a report to the relevant authority.

The Star Performing Arts Centre (The Star PAC) is a commercial entity, fully owned by Rock Productions Pte Ltd (Rock), the business arm of New Creation Church (NCC).

As a venue, The Star PAC is open and available for hiring by impresarios, concert organisers, institutions and commercial organisations.

The Star PAC operates its business independently from NCC with a strict arms-length policy in place. Pastor Joseph Prince serves as a volunteer Senior Pastor of NCC. He does not sit on NCC’s board and he is neither involved nor kept abreast of management decisions of the business entities under Rock.

Conditions set forth by the authorities in the tender award to Rock states clearly that Rock will “operate the 5,000 seat performing arts venue on a purely commercial basis and will not implement any leasing or pricing policies that will discriminate between religious groups, institutions or organisations from hiring the venue”.

All public events held at The Star PAC and other venues in Singapore require a Public Entertainment License, which is issued by the Singapore Police Force. We have government bodies including the Media Development Authority dealing with issues of public decency and we have the utmost confidence in their policies and ability to protect the interest of the general public.

Any event or concert presented at The Star PAC should not be misconstrued or misunderstood as having NCC approving of its artistic presentation or endorsing the lifestyle of the performer.

Have you wondered what took place at the cross? Travel back in time to witness how Jesus bore your sins, condemnation, curses, sicknesses and even death on the cross just for you.

Watch this video and experience afresh God’s amazing love for you through the mighty cross!

In this Year Of The Latter Rain, the youth in New Creation Worship got together and penned two anthemic songs for this season, prophesying and declaring what God is doing in this generation. We are thrilled to share the songs with you and pray that it will elevate your faith in His love for you.

The songs are available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and rockonline.sg.

Click here for more information and a preview of the songs.

Prayer changes things.

In times like these, we can stand in faith as a church and pray together.

What Is This About?
As a church, let’s pray and proclaim God's promise of protection and blessings in Psalm 91 over our loved ones, our neighbours, our fellow Singaporeans and our nation.

Why #P91?
We want to be reminded of God’s promises of protection and blessings in Psalm 91, and to declare God’s promise of protection and blessings in Psalm 91 over our loved ones and our nation. During this season, He shall be a safe refuge and fortress for us.

Encourage Someone With A Note
Pick up a card at our service venues on Sunday to write a note of encouragement for someone the Lord has impressed upon your heart to reach out to. This person could be the taxi driver or the healthcare worker in your neighbourhood who is helping to keep Singapore safe.

You may also share or forward our social media posts along with an encouraging message or prayer.

Let us stand with our community and nation during this time. We can all make a difference as we arise and shine in times like these.

When the severe acute respiratory syndrome (Sars) outbreak hit Singapore in 2003, the church was encouraged by the teaching on Psalm 91 by Senior Pastor Joseph Prince. By the grace of God, no regular attendee from our church suffered death from the disease as the supernatural protection of God covered the church.

This song, inspired by the truths found in Psalm 91, became a declarative song of God's protection over our lives. In this season of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 outbreak, let this classic song of His timeless truths remind you of Jesus' faithfulness, as we declare:

“No evil, no terror, no arrow, no plague shall ever come near me
For You are my safety, my hiding place
Jesus I trust in You"

Written and produced by New Creation Worship, Psalm 91 (2003 Classic) is available in both English and Mandarin.

Psalm 91 (2003 Classic), the English single, is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon.

诗篇 91 (2003 经典), the Mandarin single, is available on iTunesApple MusicSpotifyAmazon and rockonline.sg

On 11 March 2020, Fox News published an article titled “What is the ‘Christian response’ to the coronavirus? Pastors urge faith over fear”, which features Pastor Prince and New Creation Church.

We are thankful for the opportunity to shine a light on Jesus' finished work even in dark times like these.

Prior to our services going online on Sunday, 15 March 2020, we had implemented the following measures in line with the guidelines from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the National Environment Agency (NEA) since the end of January 2020:

  1. Temperature/health checks at our services with state-of-the-art thermal scanners, similar to those used by Changi Airport and hospitals across Singapore. Those with symptoms, such as fever, cough or runny nose were asked to go home and rest, and to seek medical attention.
In addition, we encouraged those who have these symptoms, even if they are mild, to stay at home and recover fully instead of coming for service.

  2. Travel advisories in line with the latest advisories from the authorities, and implementation of travel declarations and leave of absence/stay-home notices for our staff and volunteers. This included the monitoring of personal health upon return to Singapore.

  3. Encouraging personal hygiene in line with recommendations by the MOH.

  4. Hand sanitisers provided at common areas.

  5. Increased frequency and enhanced sanitisation of high-contact places (e.g. common areas, toilets, lifts)

We also practised good hygiene as a church during our services by:

  1. Not passing offering bags during services. We encouraged the giving of tithes and offerings via our digital options found here, or dropping envelopes into the offering boxes/bags after the service.

  2. Not passing disposal bags for empty Holy Communion cups. The congregation disposed of these into trash bags/bins after the service.

  3. Practising social distancing at our Chinese services where a high percentage of the congregation are elderly by further spacing out the chairs at the venues.

In addition to the recommendations by MOH and NEA, we also implemented the following precautions:

  1. Disinfecting (e.g. bio-fogging) venues for large gatherings and all children’s classes. This included electrostatic spraying of long-lasting high-performance antivirus and antibacterial disinfectant to coat frequently touched surfaces.

  2. Germitrol air sterilisers (utilising UV filtration technology deployed at medical facilities) at all children's classes.

  3. Temperature and health checks, as well as sanitising of hands, for all children before they enter classes.

As our nation deals with the outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), we as a church remain committed to giving our support to the community in practical ways, while we continue to pray for the situation.

Our overseas outreach programmes also carry on with the help of our partners on the ground to support impoverished and vulnerable communities. Read more here.

27 June 2020—Blood Donation Drive At The Star Performing Arts Centre
With blood stocks having dropped significantly during the COVID-19 outbreak, we want to help in practical ways and partnered with the Singapore Red Cross to set up a blood donation drive at The Star Performing Arts Centre. A big thank you to the youths and young adults in our youth ministry who stepped up to give the gift of life and bless patients in need!

June 2020—Fei Yue Senior Activity Centre
Our volunteers continue to pack and deliver essential food items to the underprivileged elderly.

We count it a joy to show God's love and serve the community in practical ways during these times.

May–June 2020—Blessing The Elderly In Our Community
We may be physically apart, but love knows no distance!

During this season, our volunteers continue to send love and encouragement to the elderly in nursing homes with video greetings.

28 April–11 May 2020—Blood Donation Initiative
Due to the COVID-19 situation, blood stocks in Singapore are running low and blood banks had made appeals for donors.

Over the span of two weeks, our volunteers made individual trips to the local blood banks and community blood donation drives to donate their blood. We’re thankful for this opportunity to be a blessing to the patients in need, and we continue to uphold them in prayer.

4–8 May 2020―Fei Yue Senior Activity Centre
Over 800 food packs prepared and delivered with love. We’re glad we get to play a part in serving the underprivileged elderly in our community and letting them know that we care.

30 Apr―The Food Bank
In challenging times like this, we’re glad to be able to continue supporting The Food Bank, a local charity, by packing food rations for the vulnerable in our community.

20 April 2020—Blessing Migrant Workers
The migrant workers leave their homes to build our nation. During this difficult time, we are privileged to partner with various organisations and agencies who reach out to the workers to meet their basic needs. We have also given to organisations to provide shelter for the homeless Malaysian workers stranded here in Singapore.

3 April 2020—Alexandra Hospital
Grateful for the opportunity to bring gift packages of refreshments and chocolates to show love and support for the healthcare team at Alexandra Hospital before the circuit breaker measures kick in!

21 March 2020—The Food Bank Fresh Food Delivery
Many elderly are playing their part by staying at home during this season, and we want to show them our love and support. University students from our Varsity youth group partnered with The Food Bank to pack, load, and deliver fresh foods right to their doorsteps!

26 February 2020—National University Hospital And Khoo Teck Puat Hospital
We delivered refreshments, vitamin C tablets, and energy bars to the healthcare workers at National University Hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital to cheer them on and appreciate them for their courage, selflessness, and dedication during this season.

21 February 2020—Willing Hearts
Our volunteers helped out at Willing Hearts, a local soup kitchen, to prepare, pack and deliver warm meals to the underprivileged. This is our way of supporting charities with a manpower crunch because of COVID-19.

15 & 22 February 2020—The Food Bank
With local charities such as The Food Bank facing manpower shortage during this time, our volunteers have availed themselves to provide extra pairs of hands to help pack food supplies.

14 February 2020—Tan Tock Seng Hospital
Healthcare workers put their lives on the line and work tirelessly to attend to the sick, and to keep Singapore safe. We brought refreshments, pain relief patches and vitamin C donated by our church to the medical staff at Tan Tock Seng Hospital to support and encourage them as they battle the coronavirus on the frontlines.

The plight of the rural and marginalized communities in developing countries is further exacerbated by the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic. With the help of our outreach partners on the ground, we continue to provide practical help to these communities.

Food For The Children In Tondo Slums
Every Saturday, our church has been providing meals for 600 children in the slums of Tondo, the Philippines. In partnership with a local church there, we have also been sharing the gospel and organising children’s church programmes with the little ones. We pray that many seeds will be sown in their hearts as they receive the love of our Lord Jesus!

Food For The Poor In Cambodia
We continue our efforts to bring God’s love to the poor in practical ways. Through our partners, we distributed food packages to 130 families at Cambodia Care Centre in Phnom Penh. We also got to encourage them through a time of praise and worship and the sharing of the Word!

Food For The Jobless And The Underprivileged In Cambodia
As work ceased and jobs dried up in Cambodia due to the pandemic, many villagers in Sikhanoukville struggle to put food on their tables. To help tide them through this difficult period, we partnered with a local organisation to give out food rations to some 50 affected families.

We also continue to support the local feeding programme for underprivileged children living in the slums of Cambodia where they are hard hit by food shortages. Joining hands with our partner in Cambodia, we are able to increase the reach of our feeding programme to 600 children every week during this season. It is our joy to see these children being nourished by regular meals.

Supporting Education In Rural Indonesia
With schools closed due to the current pandemic and the switch to online learning, many low-income families in rural areas of Indonesia are unable to afford online learning facilities for their children.

As such, our church collaborated with Hope Village, a local charity, to distribute learning packs to over 100 students from these areas. We also gave towards the renovation of the village high school to provide a safe and more conducive learning environment for its students when school reopens!

Rice Giving Programme In Tondo Slums
The COVID-19 lockdown in Manila, the Philippines, has severely impacted the poor living in the slums of Tondo where many families go without food. Working with our partner there, we continue to serve this community through our rice giving programme which began in 2016, and we have now increased our distribution to help feed 400 families every week.

Food For The Poor In India
In this COVID-19 pandemic, our hearts go out to the rural poor in India who are struggling for their livelihoods. Together with a local church, we distributed food rations to over 300 needy families and provided some 5,000 meals for the hungry.

Free Medical Care
Over the last few years, our church has been supporting the running of the Cambodia Care Medical Clinic that offers free treatment to the villagers who are unable to afford or access medical care. With the necessary precautionary measures in place, the clinic remains available to the villagers.

Provision Of Food And Hygiene Items
In Cambodia, we have also given out care packs containing dried food rations and hygiene items to help some 130 impoverished families tide through this difficult period.&nbsp;</p>

In addition, we continue to support the feeding programmes we have in the Philippines, Cambodia and Myanmar to provide nutritious meals for children living in the slums. Read more about our feeding programmes here

“As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in. Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day…”  – Joshua 14:11–12, KJV

Inspired by Senior Pastor Joseph Prince’s teachings on possessing our possessions, this song speaks of a child-like faith in Christ that God has birthed in us.

It’s a faith that does not depend on our circumstances, but on His goodness; a faith that does not look at the size of the Goliaths, but of the infinite God; a faith that rises above adversity, thrives through the storm and takes on every mountain.

This audacious faith boasts not of itself, but echoes God’s unshakeable love, knowing Jesus has won the victory for us. Let His love ignite you from within as you listen to this song and stand on His promise to possess your possessions!

Written and produced by New Creation Worship, Give Me This Mountain is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and rockonline.sg.

Will Jesus heal me?

Some 2,000 years ago, this question must have weighed heavily on a man suffering from leprosy, an incurable skin disease. As his highly-contagious condition alienated him from society and the people he loved, he was plunged into the dark void of despair, lost in his loneliness and misery.

Let this animation clip speak to you and show you how God does not just have the power but also the heart to supply your area of need.

You can now watch New Creation TV’s programmes in Chinese, on demand! The New Creation TV Chinese YouTube channel features sermons by Senior Pastor Joseph Prince dubbed in Mandarin, as well as Chinese worship music. There will also be testimonies centred on our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our church is giving US$20,000 to the work of our partner, One-2-One Charitable Trust, to bring essential relief supplies to over a thousand people affected by the flood in Laos.

Many have lost their homes while many have been reported missing or dead after a hydropower dam under construction in southern Laos collapsed on 24 July 2018, causing widespread flooding in several areas in Laos.

Let’s continue to pray that God will keep the precious people of Laos safe, and strengthen and comfort them in this difficult time.

Church, there is now a new convenient way to get the Word onto your phones and devices with digital sermon cards.

Each digital sermon card lets you redeem an audio sermon by Pastor Prince on the Joseph Prince mobile app. Redeemed sermons are instantly added to your sermon library in the app for you to stream or listen to offline.

Here is a short clip featuring Pastor Mark Ng and his daughter Kai Lin demonstrating how the digital sermon cards work.

The digital sermon cards are available at NCC Resource on service days and Rock Gifts & Book Centre at The Star Vista, #02-07.

Senior Pastor Joseph Prince was in the United States this October to lead worship sessions in five cities across the nation.

In Washington, DC, he was invited to the White House where he met with Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kevin Cramer. Pastor Prince also had the opportunity to share God's grace and pray for the Vice President.

Fox News published an article on this visit and featured Pastor Prince's sharing on the Holy Communion. You can read the article here.

In this season when Singapore has embarked on Phase 2 of the post-circuit breaker, we rejoice and give thanks that our nation is gradually re-opening.

Here is some key information regarding our church services, gatherings and available support during this time:

 CHURCH SERVICES CONTINUE ONLINE

As much as we are looking forward to gathering as a church family again, we will not be resuming physical services for now.

The authorities now permit congregational and other worship services to resume with safeguards in place for no more than 50 worshippers per service. However, we are adopting a cautious approach with your safety and best interest as our top priority, and want to ensure that the necessary safety measures can be implemented well before we step into a gradual resumption of our physical services.

In the meantime, we look forward to continue worshipping online together with you via our website or YouTube Channel. More details can be found below:

English services | Video stream at 11.30am, 2.30pm, 5.30pm & 8.30pm SGT | Tune in here
