Father’s Day Celebrations 2018
In honour of the dads at the Sunday services on 17 June 2018, a group of children joined in a touching song item titled “You Are The Reason”, which was sung from the perspective of a loving father longing for the presence of his child.
Pastor Lawrence Lim preached on our heavenly Father’s love for us and prayed for the fathers to grow in the revelation and experience of this love, as well as His wisdom, favour and blessings.
There was a specially designed RFID (Radio-Frequency IDentification) card holder which contains pocket-sized Bible verse cards for the dads at the English services while those at the Chinese services received a wooden photo frame.
Joining in the celebrations, the young ones at children’s ministry Rock Kidz crafted bow ties with handwritten messages to their beloved dads.
