The plight of the rural and marginalized communities in developing countries is further exacerbated by the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic. With the help of our outreach partners on the ground, we continue to provide practical help to these communities.

Food For Families in Myanmar and Cambodia

In Myanmar and Cambodia, we have been regularly providing some 200 needy families with essential food packs and groceries as part of our Covid-19 relief programme. Among them are individuals who are visually impaired, and we pray that everyone whom we encounter will come to know Jesus and His love!

 

Medical Aid in Myanmar

As part of our Covid-19 relief efforts in Myanmar, we donated 10 oxygen concentrators as well as essential medical supplies to the local church involved in offering medical aid to those in need. Church, let’s continue to pray for those who have been affected during this season, and stand in faith with them that the Lord will heal and provide!


Feeding The Poor In India

India has been badly hit by the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic and many families are struggling to put food on the table. Together with Vision Rescue, a Christian non-profit organisation that provides humanitarian aid in India, we distributed food supplies to help over 1,600 families living in the slum communities in Mumbai.  


Food Distribution In Sihanoukville

As part of our church's relief efforts in Cambodia we've been regularly distributing food supplies to many families impacted by the pandemic. We sent food supplies to help more than 200 families in need in Sihanoukville, Cambodia through local partners who organised distribution in small groups to comply with safe management measures. Thank you, Church, for partnering us to support those in need during this period.



Giving Rations And Feeding Children

We are thankful that the Lord is using us to reach out to the less privileged in our neighbouring countries through our local partners. In Cambodia, we recently distributed rations to families in Phnom Penh who have been struggling due to the pandemic, and prayed with them as well! In the Philippines, it is a joy to see our feeding programme in Tondo, Manila put smiles on many children who are living in slums.

 

COVID-19 Relief Efforts in Phnom Penh

As part of our COVID-19 relief efforts in Cambodia, we have been going from door to door to distribute food supplies to families living in a slum. Praise the Lord for His provision to those in need. We believe that as they receive practical help and encouragement, they will experience God’s love all the more!

 

Medical Assistance in Cambodia

Church, because of your giving, we are able to continue supporting a local clinic in Cambodia to provide medical help for the poor and underprivileged. And during these times, we make sure that all patients are treated in a safe environment, replete with hand sanitisers and important safety information! Thank you for being a blessing!

 

Feeding Programmes In Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville

We thank God that we are able to continue our programmes to feed some 200 children living in the slums of Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville even during the current lockdown in Cambodia.

Food Packages and Medical Care For The Poor In Cambodia

Our heart goes out to the poor in Cambodia who have lost their income in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are thankful for the opportunity to fund regular feeding programmes in Sihanoukville that distribute food to those in need.

We also continue to offer financial support to our long-term partners on the ground who provide medical care to the locals who are living in slums. We are believing for the Lord’s love to touch many hearts in the nation of Cambodia!


Food For Families In India and the Philippines
Church, thank you for being a help to many families in India and the Philippines during this difficult season. Because of your giving, we are able to give essential food items to 391 poor families in India, including local pastors and leaders. We have also extended our weekly rice-giving programme in Tondo, Maniila to now support 400 families living in slums.


Essential Supplies For Villagers In Sihanoukville
Praise the Lord that so many are experiencing the love of the Lord Jesus Christ! Over a two-day COVID-19 relief effort in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, we gave essential supplies to 100 village families through our partners who also shared the gospel with them and saw many receiving the Lord as their Saviour! 


Food For The Children In Tondo Slums
Every Saturday, our church has been providing meals for 600 children in the slums of Tondo, the Philippines. In partnership with a local church there, we have also been sharing the gospel and organising children’s church programmes with the little ones. We pray that many seeds will be sown in their hearts as they receive the love of our Lord Jesus!


Food For The Poor In Cambodia
We continue our efforts to bring God’s love to the poor in practical ways. Through our partners, we distributed food packages to 130 families at Cambodia Care Centre in Phnom Penh. We also got to encourage them through a time of praise and worship and the sharing of the Word!



Food For The Jobless And The Underprivileged In Cambodia
As work ceased and jobs dried up in Cambodia due to the pandemic, many villagers in Sikhanoukville struggle to put food on their tables. To help tide them through this difficult period, we partnered with a local organisation to give out food rations to some 50 affected families.

We also continue to support the local feeding programme for underprivileged children living in the slums of Cambodia where they are hard hit by food shortages. Joining hands with our partner in Cambodia, we are able to increase the reach of our feeding programme to 600 children every week during this season. It is our joy to see these children being nourished by regular meals.

 

Supporting Education In Rural Indonesia
With schools closed due to the current pandemic and the switch to online learning, many low-income families in rural areas of Indonesia are unable to afford online learning facilities for their children.

As such, our church collaborated with Hope Village, a local charity, to distribute learning packs to over 100 students from these areas. We also gave towards the renovation of the village high school to provide a safe and more conducive learning environment for its students when school reopens!

 

Rice Giving Programme In Tondo Slums
The COVID-19 lockdown in Manila, the Philippines, has severely impacted the poor living in the slums of Tondo where many families go without food. Working with our partner there, we continue to serve this community through our rice giving programme which began in 2016 and we have now increased our distribution to help feed 400 families every week.

 

Food For The Poor In India
In this COVID-19 pandemic, our hearts go out to the rural poor in India who are struggling for their livelihoods. Together with a local church, we distributed food rations to over 300 needy families and provided some 5,000 meals for the hungry.

 

Free Medical Care
Over the last few years, our church has been supporting the running of the Cambodia Care Medical Clinic that offers free treatment to the villagers who are unable to afford or access medical care. With the necessary precautionary measures in place, the clinic remains available to the villagers.

 

Provision Of Food And Hygiene Items
In Cambodia, we have also given out care packs containing dried food rations and hygiene items to help some 130 impoverished families tide through this difficult period. 

In addition, we continue to support the feeding programmes we have in the Philippines, Cambodia and Myanmar to provide nutritious meals for children living in the slums. Read more about our feeding programmes here.

In India, where so many are going through particularly challenging times during this Covid-19 season, we are working with local partners to distribute food essentials to some 1,000 poor families there.
