Small acts of kindness go a long way. We thank God that we can be a blessing to the community in Singapore, and show love and care to the less privileged.

Over the last 12 months from August 2017 to July 2018, more than 13,700 precious lives were touched as some 4,000 volunteers went out to be a blessing through our local outreach programmes. Glory to God!

UNDERPRIVILEGED ELDERLY

As they advance in years, many elderly find it difficult to travel alone or even do housekeeping. To remind them that they are cared for and loved, our volunteers organise various outings to places of interest and clean their homes regularly. We also frequently visit senior activity centres and nursing homes, and are glad that many precious friendships have been forged in the process!

LESS PRIVILEGED CHILDREN

Children are a gift from God and they are precious to us! In 2017, we gave out some 300 educational bursary awards to students from low-income families including those with special needs. We also organised fun outings for the children. During the Christmas season for instance, our volunteers brought a group of underprivileged children to pick gifts for themselves and their loved ones.

EX-OFFENDERS

We have also been visiting ex-offenders at halfway homes, sharing with them about the good news of Jesus and God’s unconditional love.

MIGRANT WORKERS

Another group of people whom we have been actively reaching out to are the migrant workers in Singapore. To appreciate them for contributing to Singapore, we bring them out on excursions, and organise sports activities and lunch parties for them. We have also been partnering with a local Telugu-speaking church to share the gospel with them, and at a lunch party in May 2018, nearly 40 souls were won for Jesus! Read more about the event here.
