Johor Bahru • 30 October 2009

On 30 October 2009, Pastor Henry made a trip to Johor Bahru, Malaysia, to conduct a healing service at Holy Light Presbyterian Church. About 60 people attended the service, during which Pastor Henry taught on healing and prayed for those who needed a healing touch from the Lord.

 

Kuching • 1–5 October 2009

Blessed with the gift of healing, Pastor Henry Yeo has a track record of success when he prays for healing for someone. From 1 to 5 October 2009, he was in Kuching, Malaysia, on invitation by Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB) Grace Church. There, he ministered at a healing seminar as well as SIB’s services.

During the healing seminar, Pastor Henry taught church leaders and pastors biblical truths of the why and how they can receive healing, and encouraged them to pray for others. More than 160 people from SIB Grace Church and High Priest Church were impacted by the session.

On 3 October, Pastor Henry ministered at SIB Grace Church’s healing service, and the following day, he preached at the church’s Sunday service. In all, 400 people were blessed by the services, and we praise the Lord for the one soul saved!

China • 27 October–9 November 2009

Pastor Mark spent 27 October to 9 November 2009 in China, sharing Jesus’ love with the local church leaders and congregations. He was accompanied by a team of 11 New Creation Church staff, leaders and servers from the Chinese Ministry.

The trip itinerary saw the team travelling to two different locations within a province. At both places, Pastor Mark held a three-day leadership training programme for pastors and leaders from various churches. He also shared the gospel at a total of four evangelistic meetings and preached at two local churches’ Sunday services. In all, some 270 pastors and leaders were impacted by the training programmes, and about 6,850 people were blessed by the Word at the evangelistic meetings and Sunday services.

Many lives were touched by the gospel during this missions trip and a total of 94 people made a first-time decision to receive Christ!

Indonesia • 12–14 September 2009

From 12 to 14 September 2009, Pastor Lawrence was in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he had been invited to be the guest speaker at Tiberias Church Indonesia’s Sunday services.

Pastor Lawrence preached at five services, including a youth service, on 13 September 2009. The services were held at various locations and the youth service was broadcast live to three other venues. About 8,600 people were impacted by the messages.

Thailand • 7–12 September 2009

Between 7 and 12 September 2009, a team of 17 volunteers and a full-time staff from New Creation Church were in Chiangrai, Thailand, to share God’s love with the students of Khun Mae Bong School and the families in Khun Mae Bong village.

This was our church’s second visit to Khun Mae Vong School where the team held a three-day evangelistic camp for more than 190 children. Bible lessons were shared through skits and songs, and reinforced with art and craft activities and games. At the end of the camp, 133 children received Christ.

On the final evening of the missions trip, the team held an evangelistic service for the villagers. More than 240 people were impacted by the message.

Thailand • 23–28 August 2009

Pastor Keith and a team of volunteers and full-time staff from New Creation Church were in Chiangmai, Thailand, from 23 to 28 August 2009. They were there to bring the gospel of grace to two schools and a boarding house.

Over five days, Pastor Keith and the missions team shared God’s love with close to 700 children at Serbnathithaam School (SNT) through lessons, skits and crafts. They also organised exciting carnival games for the children. At the end of the missions team’s time at SNT, 231 children has received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

On the afternoon of 24 August 2009, Pastor Keith and the team ministered at a boarding house for girls who are from underprivileged families or who had been abused. About 14 girls were impacted by the sharing of the Word.

The following afternoon, the missions team visited Chiangmai Christian School. There, they shared the gospel with 175 secondary school students through lessons, crafts and games.

China • 15–22 August 2009

Between 15 and 22 August 2009, a team of volunteers from our Chinese Ministry were in China. This was our church’s seventh visit there to distribute love gifts to needy students under the Sponsor A Student programme.

The team visited a total of 13 churches in various locations, as well as a school. Close to 130 students were blessed with love gifts.

Cambodia • 1–6 June 2009

Between 1 and 6 June 2009, a team of DARE youths, volunteers and full-time staff from New Creation Church (NCC) were in central Cambodia. This was the first time a whole level of DARE youths — 61 Secondary 3 students — had gone on a missions trip. They brought the gospel of grace to three local schools, and brought help to the less privileged.

On 2 June 2009, the team visited a primary school. There, they conducted lessons, performed a skit and shared the Word with more than 210 students. Over the next two days, the team ministered to close to 410 students in another primary school through lessons, games and skits.

The team also brought God’s love to villagers by blessing them with daily necessities and helping to build a pavement around seven communal wells.

Finally, the team held an evangelistic youth rally for the students from a high school where some 210 students were impacted by the preaching, song item and games.

In all, 778 people received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

China • 21–29 April 2009

Pastor Mark and Pastor Soo Teck were in China between 21 and 29 April 2009, and were accompanied by a team of New Creation Church staff and servers from the Chinese Ministry.

Pastor Mark conducted a leadership training over three days. About 60 local pastors and leaders from some 50 churches benefited from the training sessions.

On 25 April 2009, Pastor Mark shared the love of Jesus at an evangelistic event which was attended by 750 people. The next day, Pastor Mark ministered at a local church’s Sunday service, while Pastor Soo Teck preached at another church. Close to 400 people were impacted at each service. In total, more than 50 people made a first-time decision to receive Christ.

Indonesia • 9–12 April 2009

Pastor Christina was in Medan, Indonesia, from 9 to 12 April 2009. She was there on invitation by Pastor Johan Tjiunardi, senior pastor of Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) Church, to be a guest speaker at their Good Friday and Sunday services.

On 10 April 2009, Pastor Christina preached at the GBI Church’s Good Friday service. More than 220 people were impacted by God’s Word and there were nine salvations.

On 12 April 2009, more than 240 people attended GBI Church’s Sunday service where they were ministered to by Pastor Christina. During the altar call, five people gave their lives to Jesus.

Cambodia • 16–19 March 2009

For the first time in New Creation Church’s history, a team of DARE youths and their parents went on a missions trip together. They were in Cambodia from 16 to 19 March 2009. This trip gave the DARE youths an opportunity to bond with their parents as well as to help the less privileged.

Together, they helped to build a basketball court for a high school located in central Cambodia. Our church sponsored the construction of the basketball court. According to the local people, this is the first-ever basketball court to be built in the entire district!

China • 3–9 February 2009

From 3 to 9 February 2009, Pastor Mark, Pastor Soo Teck and a group of 10 volunteers from our church were in China. There, they ministered to local church leaders and congregations, and distributed love gifts in several village locations.

Pastor Mark conducted four leadership training sessions over two days which blessed and impacted more than 60 leaders from 16 local churches. On top of that, Pastor Mark also shared at a Bible study session and at the official opening ceremony of one of the churches.

The team visited needy families in several locations to distribute funds to more than 100 students under the Sponsor A Student programme.
