After my graduation in 2014, I was given an opportunity to work as a trainee in a logistics company. After a year, I was offered a permanent post.
However, I decided to resign in May 2016 after the company lost one of their biggest contracts, and I felt that there was a lack of growth.
I was unemployed for two years. I tried applying for jobs but they were all unsuccessful. One day, when I was watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s sermons on TV, I heard him talk about rest and decided to let go of my worries and rest in Abba Father's grace.
In February 2018, I applied for a learner post in one of the world's biggest companies. In March, I received a call to attend an interview with them. A few weeks later, I was called up for a second interview. This time round, they interviewed me for a newly-vacant supervisor role.
Weeks later, I was called up again for a third interview and the following month, I kept listening to sermons and partaking of the Holy Communion every night.
Every chance I got, I would declare that I am the righteousness of God in Christ and I am His beloved. After weeks of waiting, I finally received a job offer.
I was given a salary that was double of what I used to get. I am humbled that God didn't just grant me a job but a position that I didn't even think that I was qualified for.
When I signed the contract with the human resource manager, I was told that my case was unusual in the company. Usually, they would not offer a supervisory role to an external applicant who did not even apply for the job in the first place.
Truly, God qualifies the unqualified. Glory to God! Thank you, Pastor Prince, for teaching us the true gospel of grace!
