Blessed With A Better Job After Retrenchment
I was retrenched when I was 32. Being a mother of two young children, I was at a loss as to what to do next. I would have negative thoughts such as being unemployable and that I would never find another role that I like.
It was not easy, but my husband continually encouraged me to listen to Pastor Prince’s sermons, feed on the Word, and go to church every Sunday. Through these, my faith was renewed every day.
One of the sermons that I heard which greatly impacted me was on the book of Esther. Pastor Prince preached that even though God’s name wasn’t mentioned in the book, He was working behind the scenes all the time.
Hearing that, I knew and believed that I could trust God for favour and a breakthrough in my career.
Within a month after hearing that sermon, I received a job offer with an 80 per cent increment from the previous job! It was a miracle to me as I did not expect it at all. All glory to Him!
