Protected from car accident after reading Pastor Prince’s devotional on protection
I was driving along a route that I use almost every day. Right in front of me was a van on a single carriage lane. Suddenly, the driver slammed his brakes, and made a sharp turn to the right, colliding with an oncoming car.
The collusion thrust the oncoming car into a ditch by the road, while the van spun uncontrollably towards my direction. It stopped right on the other side of the lane and did not hit my car. The impact on the two vehicles was devastating, but the drivers only sustained slight injuries, and I thank the Lord that no lives were lost.
The car driver who was hit mentioned that she has been driving for 12 years, and had never met an accident. Right there, I remember that Pastor Prince had shared that we should put our trust in the Lord, and not our experience for protection.
That very same day, I read Pastor Prince’s daily devotional, titled Stand Upon God’s Promises where he shared on declaring God’s promise of protection in Psalm 91. I believe that the Lord had protected me and placed me at the scene to pray for those involved, and not just be a spectator.
Thank you so much, Pastor Prince, for your daily devotionals that are loaded with so much revelation of the Lord and have been so timely—meeting my daily needs on many occasions.
