Testimonies

I had my first cigarette when I was in secondary school. During my time in the army, I started to smoke more, and even more when I started working as a chef.

For 16 years, I would smoke at least one pack of cigarettes a day. Working in the food and beverage industry is very tiring, and I always used smoking as an excuse to take a break. We would often say that we are “taking a step outside for some fresh air”, which is ironic. As the years went by, my sense of taste slowly diminished, which became very worrying for me.

Eventually, I left my job to start my own business, but very quickly became even more stressed than before. I would smoke whenever I had a mental block.

As a Christian, I also felt that I was being a bad testimony to my staff. I tried quitting many times, but I failed. I felt defeated and smoked even more. I was also afraid that if I quit, I would lose my focus at work or the chance to mingle with my team while they smoked. Over time, I gave up trying to quit.

However, as I listened to testimonies in church, I knew that our heavenly Father wants us to enjoy victory in life. I started listening to Pastor Prince's sermons on Gospel Partner every day, and I felt Jesus becoming more and more real in my life.

I started to partake of the holy Communion before starting my day. At the same time, I would ask Jesus to show me His grace and favour. I began to realise that my Father in heaven has a grand plan for me, and Jesus is on my side for absolutely everything in my life. Gradually, I began to see His grace and favour in my business, health, and relationships.

One day, when I was smoking with my team, I told them that I didn’t feel like smoking any longer. I wasn't even trying to quit, but since then, the Lord Jesus has broken this addiction that had kept me bound for 16 years!

Now, I taste and smell better, and I enjoy my food more. I no longer feel the need to relieve my stress through smoking. In fact, I am enjoying a greater peace after becoming more cognisant of my Lord Jesus in my life. Today, I look forward to discovering the Word through Pastor Prince's messages.

Thank You, Jesus, for taking away my addiction to smoking and filling my life with peace and purpose. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching the gospel of grace.

I had been experiencing stiffness in my neck and shoulder, and soreness in my right arm for a prolonged period of time. Despite going for a massage at a medical centre and doing regular stretching, the conditions did not go away.

On Sunday, 9 October 2022, I attended the first service at The Star Performing Arts Centre and Pastor Prince went into a ministering flow. During the service, he pronounced healing over those who were suffering from stiffness in the neck and shoulder area and soreness in the arm.

On top of that, he also prayed for those who had constipation. It was a condition that I had had since young. So, I claimed my healing from head to toe.

By afternoon, I felt that my stomach was no longer bloated and I was no longer constipated. When Monday morning came, all the stiffness in my neck and shoulder was gone, and so did the pain in my right arm.

Praise the Lord!

My back had been aching for a few weeks after I fell down the stairs and injured myself. On Sunday, 9 October 2022, my back was still hurting even when I was sitting upright. That day, I tuned in to New Creation Church’s online service.

Then, Pastor Prince started praying for people with back and shoulder pains, and I immediately raised my hand to receive the healing. Right there and then, I felt a sense of relief in my back.

Next, I stood up and moved my body, and stretched my back. Praise the Lord, I could not feel the pain and I could sit upright without having to lean to one side. Praise the Lord. Indeed, the Lord is my healer!

I’ve had a pain in my right back for about two years. The pain was so bad that whenever I walked, I would lean towards the left side. The pain would be there all the time no matter what I was doing, be it walking, bending over or lying down.

Throughout that time, I tried every pain-relieving patch that could be found on shelves, but nothing helped. I even tried different types of stretching exercises that can be found online and sought treatment from a chiropractor, but they did not help either.

A few months back, I decided to go get it checked. I went for an X-ray and the doctor told me there was something wrong with my nerve. However, I was busy with work and did not bother to do anything about the pain.

On Sunday, 9 October 2022, Pastor Prince prayed for healing during the service. I received the prayer, but I did not notice any difference that day. However, the next day, when I was at work, I realised that the pain was gone. I have been healed!

Some time ago, I went for a body check-up as I was turning 40 years old. When the report came back, the doctor told me that I had high cholesterol, but other than that, my body was 99.9 per cent healthy.

I was given some medication and advised to return for another cholesterol test two months later.

I took the report and wrote, "As Jesus is without high cholesterol, so am I in this world."

Shortly after, I went to church, hoping Pastor Prince would minister in the healing flow, and he did just that!

That day, I was also suffering from heartburn. So when Pastor Prince called out for stomach and chest conditions, I stood up to receive the healing by faith, and immediately, all my heartburn symptoms were gone!

But that was not all. The next day, I decided to visit the doctor to retake the cholesterol test. Before the visit, I also partook of the holy Communion.

When I saw the doctor, he was reluctant to do a retest for me as it was only 22 days away from my last test, and he recommended that I come back again after two months. But I told him I wanted to take it there, and he agreed.

The next day, I returned for my results, and the doctor couldn't believe the report! He said my cholesterol level was normal, and I do not have high cholesterol! He even asked me what I did, and I told him it was Jesus!

He told me that he had never seen a patient like me whose cholesterol level would fall back to normal within 22 days and told me to continue doing what I had been doing.

That day, I left the clinic 100 per cent healthy and whole. It also dawned on me that the 22nd letter in the Hebrew alphabet is "tav", and I believe that Jesus is the "aleph and the tav". He has the first and the last words in my life.
