After several unsuccessful fertility treatments and a pregnancy loss, Chrystella and Louis were devastated and heartbroken. Though they struggled with feelings of self-blame and helplessness, they held on to the Lord’s promise to them.Watch how the Lord turned their situation around as they kept their eyes on Him and trusted in His faithfulness.
Earlier this year, I brought my five-year-old daughter to attend the church’s children’s ministry, Rock Kidz, at The Star. Upon fetching her, the teacher informed me that my daughter had accepted salvation on her own.
Initially, I felt sceptical, unsure if my daughter truly understood what salvation meant. However, the teacher assured me that the Lord has His own ways of speaking to her. She was one of only five children who stood up to receive the Lord during that session.
This deeply moved me, as my daughter typically doesn't have the courage to speak or stand up in class. Hearing this unexpected news filled me with immense joy, and I later realised it was the answer to one of my prayer requests for salvation within our family.
I give thanks to God for this wonderful blessing. Amen!
We purchased an older resale flat a few years ago at a premium price. We also spent a significant sum on renovations as we were very excited about building our perfect first home at the time.
Recently, we decided to move, but the market outlook wasn’t favourable. Experienced property agents advised us that we had missed the “golden period” during Covid and suggested we lower our expectations and prepare to incur a loss.
Nevertheless, we continued praying and trusting the Lord, believing that He was in control and would turn things in our favour.
We eventually engaged an agent with whom we felt at peace, and he helped us list our property above our “break-even” price to allow room for negotiation.
By God’s grace, there was an overwhelming response, and our agent organised a two-day open house over the weekend for all interested parties. That was the first weekend of January 2024, when we had prepared our three prayer requests.
Needless to say, both my wife and I had a shared prayer request asking God to help us sell our property. My wife even prayed for a target price that was above our listed price.
That Sunday evening, our agent informed us that there had been 55 viewings over the two days and 13 offers in total, one of which exceeded the target price my wife had prayed for!
Eventually, we sold our home at an excellent price and were not short-changed. This can only be God! Praise the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness!
The year 2024 had been a tough year as I underwent breast cancer treatment. Not only so, my family also had no income as my husband and daughter were both not working.
When Pastor Prince shared that 2024 is The Year Of Living In The Upper Room, we were deeply blessed. I presented my prayer requests to the Lord—that I would be cancer-free and that my husband would find a job.
Throughout that time, I held onto my faith that I would be healed. When I felt weak, I turned to God’s Word and listened to Pastor Prince’s sermons. Even though each monthly treatment was terrifying, God never let me go through it alone. Without Him, I would likely have had breakdowns. Psalm 23 became my go-to verse during that season.
Praise the Lord! In July 2024, I completed my one-and-a- half years of cancer treatment, and my recent scan has shown that I am cancer-free.
As for my husband, we continued praying for financial breakthrough. In the last month of December, God opened a door, and my husband secured a job that starts in January 2025! Praise the Lord for His provision!
Thank you, Pastor Prince, for your preaching. The healing scriptures you shared were what I listened to throughout my healing process. Keep up the amazing work. This ministry has touched and strengthened me!
I’m in my 50s, and earlier last year, I was preparing to take the licensure examination for dentists. At my age, taking a board exam is not easy. Initially, my plan was to take the exam later in the year as I didn’t feel ready. However, my co-reviewees kept encouraging me to go for it in June.
Eventually, I signed up for the one in June. Even then, I was considering skipping it altogether. But as I was scrolling through my phone, I came across my downloaded prayer request e- card for the year, and one of the prayers was to pass the licensure examination for dentists. This was the confirmation I needed. I became determined and started watching Pastor Prince’s sermon, Follow The Anointing Within.
I kept declaring that I have the mind of Christ and perfect recall. I even declared that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s and that I would remain relaxed throughout the exams. To my amazement, during our practice sessions for the practical phase, I never felt any discomfort such as pain or fatigue. In contrast, many of my companions complained of body aches after just one session. They even commented, “It’s so good for you—you don’t seem to feel tired!” I jokingly replied, “I’m your younger sister,” even though I was decades older.
On the examination days, I kept declaring to the Lord that this was His battle, not mine. During the three-day theoretical exam, I felt relaxed, even though the questions were very challenging.
Then came the most stressful part—the practical phase. This included setting artificial dentures, preparing cavities for restorations and more. On the first day, one of my co- examinees asked if I had finished my exercises. I said yes, and they seemed concerned about me being the oldest in the group. On the second day, I completed my assigned exercises ahead of time without any difficulty. Even the proctor and my roommates were amazed.
When the results were released, I am so grateful to share that my name was among the successful examinees. With a national passing rate of just 55 per cent, I passed despite not feeling fully prepared. By God’s grace, I am now a registered dentist. Glory to God!
At 57 years old, and 34 years after graduating from college, I can finally practise what I studied. I look forward to serving patients in the clinic where I am working.
Thank you so much, Pastor Prince and team, for your prayers and encouragement. My prayer request has been answered!
I left my company during a corporate restructuring. Around the same time, my mother fell ill and was admitted to a hospital, so I had to put my job hunting on hold.
Several months later, I resumed my job search, updating my résumé and attending workshops to enhance my skills. Although I started out feeling encouraged and enthusiastic about finding a new job, my applications were either rejected before reaching the interview stage or left under review. I received several calls from recruiters, but was unsuccessful in securing interviews. This left me feeling very discouraged, and I began to feel condemned for leaving my job the previous year. I even questioned whether my age was a barrier to finding a new opportunity.
However, God never forsook me during this season. I included my desire for a job as one of my prayer requests for the year 2024. I was also strengthened by His words of encouragement through various channels—sermons by our pastors during church services, testimonies, prayers from my church family, support from my loved ones, worship songs, and much more. These helped me to build my faith and patiently trust in what God had prepared for me.
Even though I was worried about my finances and supporting my household, I held on to the promise in Psalm 23:1 that the Lord is my shepherd and I shall not lack, and learned to remain content despite small beginnings.
By God’s grace, I was granted an interview opportunity with a company near my home. Feeling unprepared, I prayed in tongues and entrusted the interview into His hands.
A week later, I received a job offer! I accepted it and signed the letter of employment for this full-time opportunity within a week. I am now enjoying myself in my new job. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for hearing and answering my prayer request!
Not only that, but my mother, who had been unwell, was also discharged and fully recovered. All glory and praise to our Lord!
Thank you to our pastors for always encouraging us and to my brothers- and sisters-in-Christ for standing in faith with me.
