Reunited With Biological Sister In Church
After the death of my adoptive parents, I often wondered who my biological family members are and hoped to reunite with them.
In early August 2019, I casually shared about my desire with a friend and told Daddy God that I wanted to look for my biological family but did not know where to start.
A few weeks later, my husband and I attended the East zone worship night where Pastor Ronald Koh shared a testimony of a sister who experienced a breakthrough. During his sharing, I asked God about my harvest for this year too, and the words “family blessings” were impressed upon my heart.
Three days later, I met a friend who asked me if I have a sister. She went on to share that she has a long-time friend in church who looked and behaved like me. So, I briefly told her about my background—that I was adopted and I have many siblings out there.
That evening, she texted me asking for more details. So, I sent her a photo of my birth certificate to verify with her friend, and we found out that the names of our biological parents matched!
In end-August, I met up with my sister, and words could not describe the joy I had! I am really amazed by my Daddy God’s hand in this, and how He had placed my biological sister in this house so that we could be reunited.
As I reflect on this awesome reunion, I realised that it started since I prayed for family blessings at the start of this year. Praise be to our awesome, faithful Father in heaven!
