After leaving a high-level position in my previous company, I started to search for jobs actively, and send out many applications. However, I hardly received any response. I was sad and disappointed, and I condemned myself for leaving my job previously.

During this time, I read many of Pastor Prince’s books to stay afloat. They included Thoughts for Let-go Living, Anchored, 100 Days of Favor and Unmerited Favor. Even so, there were times when I would feel discouraged. I had to choose between giving up hope entirely or clinging on to God’s promises. I chose the latter.

My first ray of hope came when Pastor Prince declared that 2019 was the Year Of The Latter Rain where we shall see our harvest. He also added that in Israel, their latter rain would come as early as February, but typically, it would fall during March or April.

That message caused my hope to be at an all-time high, with a confident expectation of good to happen. I camped on God’s Word by soaking myself in Pastor Prince’s books and messages, and partook of the Holy Communion daily. I also asked my friend to pray with me.

In early April, I started to expand my networking circle and almost immediately, a very senior position was made available, and within four weeks, I was offered the job!

The salary was 20 per cent higher than my last drawn pay—a 120 per cent restoration promised by God. In addition, the role was also a position of influence that came with many perks.

All glory to Jesus. Indeed, we reign in the Year Of The Latter Rain!

In April, my husband and I were travelling around Negombo, Sri Lanka. As Pastor Prince has always shared—we should never take protection for granted. Hence, throughout our travels, we would partake of the Holy Communion in our room, and give thanks to Abba for keeping us safe.

On Good Friday, we dropped by one of the churches for a short visit before we flew home on a red eye flight. Thereafter, we rode in our hired car around Negombo, passing by many churches, including St Sebastian Church. Traffic was slower there as the roads were lined with vehicles, and many people were walking in the streets. The church compound was also overflowing with worshippers.

Days later, we found out from the news that a bomb was detonated at St Sebastian Church that Sunday. I thank our heavenly Father for His divine protection. The bomb blast could have happened anytime and anywhere, and we could have been hurt or even killed in the blast. We can never protect ourselves, only our heavenly Father can protect us and keep us safe as He promises in Psalm 91.

After the death of my adoptive parents, I often wondered who my biological family members are and hoped to reunite with them.

In early August 2019, I casually shared about my desire with a friend and told Daddy God that I wanted to look for my biological family but did not know where to start.

A few weeks later, my husband and I attended the East zone worship night where Pastor Ronald Koh shared a testimony of a sister who experienced a breakthrough. During his sharing, I asked God about my harvest for this year too, and the words “family blessings” were impressed upon my heart.

Three days later, I met a friend who asked me if I have a sister. She went on to share that she has a long-time friend in church who looked and behaved like me. So, I briefly told her about my background—that I was adopted and I have many siblings out there.

That evening, she texted me asking for more details. So, I sent her a photo of my birth certificate to verify with her friend, and we found out that the names of our biological parents matched!

In end-August, I met up with my sister, and words could not describe the joy I had! I am really amazed by my Daddy God’s hand in this, and how He had placed my biological sister in this house so that we could be reunited.

As I reflect on this awesome reunion, I realised that it started since I prayed for family blessings at the start of this year. Praise be to our awesome, faithful Father in heaven!

During my annual heath screening, the ultrasound scan picked up the presence of a non-cancerous lump in the liver. This was on top of my pre-existing conditions: liver echogenic lesions (groups of abnormal cells) and fatty liver.

My family and I have been attending New Creation Church for about seven years. We would partake of the Holy Communion regularly at home, trusting in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

About a month after the health screening, Pastor Prince ministered the Lord’s healing and called out liver conditions. I was overjoyed! But my heart sank the moment Pastor Prince said that he was referring to a lady.

Several ladies stood up, and one of them was standing behind me on my left. And when she was being prayed for, I cried out to God and asked that Pastor Prince would also pray the same prayer over me.

Thereafter, Pastor Prince continued with his sermon. But suddenly, he stopped and said that someone had asked God to have him pray over the same condition that he had prayed for over the lady. Pastor Prince asked who that person was.

I stood up and Pastor Prince prayed for me. He also asked God to give me a brand new liver. During the prayer, I could feel a warmth all over my body, and was trembling. Then, Pastor Prince asked me to lay my hand on my abdomen where my liver was, and continue to do so until the warmth dissipated. He went on to share that he saw a vision of me laying hands on myself, and that the same healing that came when Jesus laid hands on the sick was on me too! Only my heavenly Father would know that I have been laying hands on myself whenever I experienced aches in my body.

At my next annual health screening, the results showed that there are no lesions or cysts in my liver, and I no longer have fatty liver! Even my overall cholesterol level had dropped.

My colleagues could not believe the report seeing that I did not change my lifestyle or diet. Indeed when God restores, He restores everything—even a brand new liver! Glory to Jesus!

Earlier this year, I received great news that my relative’s wife was pregnant. It was her second pregnancy. During her first pregnancy, her unborn child had been diagnosed with an infectious disease.

In March this year, I received a call from my relative, telling me that a parasite infection had infected his wife, and might affect the baby.

My relatives were devastated by the news, and sought help and comfort. They were not believers, but I believed and trusted that the Lord would help them.

I shared with my relative about my personal encounter with God and suggested praying together. He was so willing to listen, and I proceeded to teach him how to pray. I also shared with one of our church pastors on a Sunday, and he prayed with me for my relatives’ well-being.

A month later, my relatives called and said that the medical review showed that the infection was gone! God is so good. Their baby boy was born in September and both mother and child are well. I thank God for answering our prayers. I am in awe of His love—a love that reaches even those who don’t believe.
